Adel Hosni has 30+ years of experience in the oil industry and is a former senior Executive in a leading multinational oil company. His industry international experience spans Egypt, Middle East, Europe and Africa. He has held many executive positions including Vice President Planning, Supply and Pricing, Marketing Operations, Commercial & Retail Marketing Managers. He was the master-mind of an in-depth retail network strategy utilizing mapping technology and scenario planning techniques which has been implemented in many countries. As a commercial marketer he extended technical support to many Middle Eastern affiliate companies in Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and UAE.
Adel is recognized for his ability to achieve results. He was his multi-national energy firm’s official representative to the national government industry committees; played a prominent role in securing appropriate market shares for all petroleum products and ultimately positioned his company to be the market leader.
Adel has extensive experience in the Natural Gas industry. As CEO of a Gas marketing company, he established the organization and developed strategic plans for developing a network of Natural Gas filling stations and conversion centers to convert vehicles from Gasoline to compressed natural Gas (CNG).
Adel is multi-lingual; a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt; and holds a bachelors degree in Chemistry from Faculty of Science, Cairo University.
