Don Caldwell’s background includes Retail sales and Marketing experience while working thirty five years with a Global energy company. During that time he spent twenty years in US and International marketing developing strategies and implementing Point-of-Sale and Retail Automation solutions for twenty five affiliate companies.
His background in Marketing has proven key in partnering with business units to identify local market conditions and business drivers. This enables the development of competitive Retail Automation strategies, technology that best fits the business needs and delivering cost effective POS solutions.
In the US market he led a project team that managed the development and systems integration of a customer driven marketing program for use at retail sites. He supported the successful implementation at over 2500 stores, including distributors, dealers and company operations across the US.
He worked as Retail Automation Coordinator for Latin America and partnered with four affiliates while developing and recommending a strategy for back office and POS automation. He provided project management advice during the successful implementation process. He served as Retail Automation Coordinator for Europe while embedded in the Headquarters business unit. He supported the implementation of a Europe-wide Commercial card program at affiliate companies and three Joint Venture partners. During this time he led a team of marketing and systems experts in the development, systems integration and implementation of a system across fifteen affiliates ahead of the marketing launch of the new program.
Don’s business background and project management experience enables him to provide value added POS and Retail Automation solutions for business partners. He is a graduate of San Diego State University with a BS degree in Marketing and resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
