Financing Mergers & Acquisitions – Retail Fuel & Food Sector
Ken has 23 years of experience working for mega-major fuel and food companies. Following initial field retail marketing assignments in both company operated and dealer franchise businesses, he was appointed to various management positions with increasing levels of responsibility. Specifically, he held assignments in fuels/convenience marketing, brand management, new product ventures, legislative and regulatory affairs, and was an integral member of the headquarters’ financial team. At one point in his career, he was tapped to coordinate legislative and media affairs during and after Operation Dessert Storm in the early 1990’s. He also managed a global credit card business in North America and Asia Pacific.
With a broad base of industry knowledge, Ken had the opportunity to focus on his passion for the retail fuel/convenience store business. During his tenure he assumed area management positions in both dealer franchise and company-operated regions on the east coast, achieving top honors by growing gross profit dollar contributions. Most recently, he has worked with franchisees and distributors, helping them grow their businesses through strategic acquisitions, offering market insight as well as access to debt and equity providers to finance their deals.
Ken’s diverse background and experience equips him with a unique combination of key analytical and market development skills, along with a keen ability to identify and source capital funds for mergers/acquisitions. He continues to carry with him strong leadership and team development credentials.
He graduated with honors from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Economics and Business, followed by an M.B.A in Finance from Lehigh, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Ken resides with his wife and children in Westchester County, NY just outside New York City.
