Mike has more than 40 years experience in gasoline/c-store marketing and shopping center/big box retailing. He has held management positions with major and mega-major corporations in Sales, Strategic Planning and Real Estate where Mike's transaction skills and knowledge were expanded. As a Real Estate Manager for a mega-major gasoline retailer, Mike, in addition to the generic real estate responsibilities/initiatives, was lead negotiator and manager for all major market real estate transactions and conversions. These transactions included large scale acquisitions, like kind exchanges, sales, and in many instances the conversion of markets to a new method of operation. These transactions can be complex. In addition to the sale of real property, they can include the transfer of on-going businesses, employees, inventory and environmental responsibilities.

He also managed a gasoline marketing joint venture with a national convenience store chain. Mike also has experience in the retail market. As Director of Real Estate for a discount retailer, he managed a chain of big box stores. Following his corporate career, Mike was retained by a mega-major gasoline retailer to manage real estate market transactions and conversions and provide consulting services.
